A lot of us, web designers and web developers, should be using Firefox. And there are a lot of useful extensions for firefox, and that’s why i decided to open a new category just for these extensions. Some of them work in real time and give us precious information when in the middle of the process of designing a website.

The last i came across is the CSSVIEWER, a simple property viewer. You can download it in the link below:

This extensions allows you to view in real-time all the styles in a particular rule. You will have at the distance of a click, properties like fonts, colors, backgrounds, boxes, everything that matters. It is not only useful for us designers to check out our work but it is also useful for us to take a look into other websites and grab a bite of the properties used. Come on, confess: didn’t you ever took a look at someone else code to check out a particular property in an object? I’m sure you did. Well, no more “view source” things, this is the tool you’ve been waitnig for. One thing missing tough: you just can look at the properties, you cannot copy them… for now. Have fun with it.
